DATIN SRI JACQUELINE NGU

A woman of beauty, power, and purpose, Datin Sri Jacqueline Ngu first rose to prominence as Miss World Sarawak 1993, before capturing the national crown of Miss World Malaysia 1993/94 and then proudly representing Malaysia at Miss World 1993 in South Africa. 


Her beauty was matched with brilliance; armed with a Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia; she built a successful career in finance, excelling as both a stockbroker and financial advisor, where she consistently ranked among the top in her field.


Her influence grew beyond crowns and careers. In 2016, she was honoured with the prestigious title of  Mrs Asia Pacific Queen of Substance in Singapore, a recognition reserved for women of power, positive influence, and purpose. 


Over the years, Datin Sri Jacqueline Ngu has played an inspiring role in the world of pageantry, having organised numerous beauty pageants, fashion events, and art showcases, many in support of charitable causes. She is frequently invited to grace the judging panels of national and international beauty pageants, where she brings her wealth of experience, insight, and grace to the world of pageantry.


Today, Datin Sri Jacqueline Ngu is also a dynamic entrepreneur and co-founder of property and investment holding companies with her husband, Dato Sri Peter Ting, and in 2023 became a substantial investor in Malaysian Genomics Resource Centre Berhad (MGRC), a life sciences company listed on the Malaysian stock exchange. A passionate art collector, she remains deeply connected to culture, fashion, and philanthropy.


Admired as a fashion & style icon, fitness and travel lover, Datin Sri Jacqueline Ngu balances her professional, philanthropic, and social commitments with her most cherished roles; that of a devoted wife and loving mother of four.

DR. KENNY LOH

Introducing one of our distinguished panel judges, Dr. Kenny Loh - CEO & Founder of Kenny Loh Couture, award-winning designer and cultural advocate passionate about preserving Peranakan heritage.  Famous for his stunning Nyonya Kebaya collections, Dr. Kenny blends traditional embroidery, beading, and batik with modern fashion, bringing Malaysia's heritage to the global stage.  From curating exhibitions like Road to UNESCO - Nyonya Sarong Kebaya to collaborating with Malaysia Airlines, he has worked tirelessly to make the Nyonya Kebaya a proud symbol of national identity.  In 2024, he received the Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (P.J.K.) from the Penang State Government for his contribution to culture and heritage.  We are honoured to have him on the judging panel for the 63rd Miss International Malaysia Beauty Pageant Grand Final 2025.


His mission: Preserve heritage, empower elegance, and inspire future generations.

BON ZAINAL HARUN

Born in Terengganu (and raised in Kuala Lumpur), Styled in California, Dressing Up Malaysia,

just about sums up Bon Zainal Harun.


His passion for fashion led him to the prestigious School of Fashion & Merchandising in Los

Angeles, where he refined his expertise in grooming and fashion styling, graduating in 1985.

His talents were quickly recognised in the United States, where he served as a council member

at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Sherman Oaks, California, and became

a charter member of GQ Magazine’s Reader Report. Under the mentorship of renowned

Hollywood stylist Rick Pallack, Bon Zainul gained invaluable experience during a

transformative year of training that shaped his future career. He further sharpened his craft with

stints at Ralph Lauren’s Beverly Hills boutique and Gary’s Tux in Studio City, laying the

foundation for his continued success in the fashion industry.


In 1990, Bon Zainal returned to Malaysia, joining Spark Manshop, where he perfected his

expertise in menswear tailoring and retail. Six years later, he embarked on his own

entrepreneurial journey with the launch of his Image Consultancy. By 2014, he had firmly

established Bon Fashion Legacy Sdn Bhd (BFL), positioning his ‘BON ZAINAL’ brand as the

hallmark of refined men’s fashion, targeting Malaysia’s upper echelon. His design philosophy

is centred on the customer, ensuring every collection is crafted with meticulous attention to

detail, superior quality, and a deep understanding of men’s sartorial needs.


Bon Zainal’s creations stand out for their consistency in quality, thoughtful design, exquisite

workmanship and superior raw materials. Every collection undergoes rigorous testing on real

men to ensure a perfect fit, a testament to his belief that fashion should be practical yet

sophisticated. Over the years, Bon Zainal has dressed Heads of State, CEOs, Ministers, and

luminaries, earning the well-deserved title of Malaysia’s King of Menswear.


His illustrious career has been punctuated by numerous accolades, including the Muse

Mercedes Benz Fashion Awards 2010 for Most Stylish Designer, the Mercedes Benz STYLO

Fashion Awards for Designer of the Year 2014, the Mercedes Benz Lifetime Achievement

Award in 2019, and the Fashion Icon Award from the MDMPA in 2020. As a pioneer of the

local fashion scene, he founded the Malaysia Bumiputra Designer Association (MBDA),

promoting innovation and collaboration across Malaysia’s fashion industry. His

groundbreaking Tower Fashion Eleganza in 2023, where he organised and hosted the highest


altitude fashion show, at the Kuala Lumpur Tower, 300 metres above ground level. It was a

runway success, establishing his reputation as a fashion visionary.


Bon also Co-Chairman of Malaysia Fashion Week / STYLO. Most recently, he was honoured

with the CHT Excellence Award for Fashion Design (Menswear) at the CHT International

Awards 2024, a fitting tribute and accolade that celebrates his lasting contributions to fashion

and his leadership within the industry.


With a career spanning over three decades, Bon Zainal Harun continues to shape the future of

Malaysian menswear and fashion, setting new standards of elegance and craftsmanship, one

collection at a time.
